While working on our February "Salute to Caregivers" edition of Views & Voices (which is full of amazing and inspiring people and stories related to caregiving), a letter came to me that helped put the January bills and winter blues in perspective. And maybe sharing it will do the same for you! "I enjoyed the (January) Views & Voices issue primarily because you featured one of my favorite places, Bella Cucina. My husband Bob grew up in Franklin and we had gotten our marriage license from the Venango County Courthouse there, where his maternal grandfather William A. Blair had owned a shoe store and (Bob's) mother Martha had owned a women's shoe store .... and I did my student teaching ... all in Franklin. One day when Bob and I were visiting Franklin and more specifically, Applefest in the park about seven years ago, to get out of bad weather, we dashed into Bella Cucina. We luckily found a table and enjoyed the surroundings, vowing to return at the first opportunity. Bella Cucina became the place that we went for celebrations and special meals. We would frequently meet or invite others to join us there for a great meal.

It's that time of ye ar again and I don't mean the winter season!
The bridal season is upon us and many brides-to-be and family members are preparing for that special personal event.
This month in Views & Voices we try to make the preparing and planning just a little bit easier in our special "Art of Love" edition.
In "Let Them Eat Cake" we highlight the amazing confectionary magic that many of the bakeries in our region provide. Check out their unique flavors, battersand fillings and their imaginative displays.
There is also information about how to buy the ring, choosing and saving your bridal flowers, setting up housekeeping, how to prepare when traveling out of the country, the latest trends in bridal gowns and special breakfast-in-bed recipes from the Australian Walkabout Inn Bed & Breakfast in Lancaster owned by a West Middlesex native and her husband. We also share a few inspiring love stories including the transatlantic couple who met through the Rotary's Group Study Exchange program, and a little romantic history about Buhl Mansion Guesthouse and Spa, originally the home built by Frank H. Buhl for his new bride Julia.
