I rem ember how excited I was in ninth grade when I could finally be in the Drama Club at Wilmington Area High School. Try-outs seemed stressful to others but since I really didn't have a clue about what I was getting involved with, I just got on the stage and did my readings along with everyone else without much fear. It was only when the director had me read over and over again that I started to think something was up. But even then, not really a clue. So the next day, when I saw my name cast as the romantic lead of Alice in "You Can't Take it With You," I couldn't believe it. And I can honestly say that though I had a wonderful time during practice and performance with the cast and crew, I still didn't really understood all that I was learning. Like how to create magic by pulling people together from all walks of life to become part of something bigger. And how to keep practicing something until its perfect.

Blair had owned a shoe store and (Bob's) mother Martha had owned a women's shoe store .... and I did my student teaching ... all in Franklin. One day when Bob and I were visiting Franklin and more specifically, Applefest in the park about seven years ago, to get out of bad weather, we dashed into Bella Cucina. We luckily found a table and enjoyed the surroundings, vowing to return at the first opportunity. Bella Cucina became the place that we went for celebrations and special meals. We would frequently meet or invite others to join us there for a great meal.
